  • Operate escalation response as part of a team rotation — you are never alone (24/7 coverage shared across the CS team)
  • Serve as the primary liaison for students, universities, and host companies
  • Monitor daily progress and identify risks early
Post-Program
  • Conduct and analyze Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) surveys
  • Gather end-of-program feedback and create evaluation reports
  • Follow up with host companies to strengthen partnerships
Continuous Improvementm
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose process improvements
  • Document systems and bring order to operational complexity
  • Collaborate across Sales, Placement, Product, and Operations teams
  • Contribute ideas that enhance the student experience
What You Bring Required
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in customer operations, guest services, program management, or similar roles. Experience in education, travel, hospitality, or BPO is particularly valued.
  • Clear, professional communication in both English and Japanese
    • English: Business level or above
    • Japanese: business to native level
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while remaining calm and composed under pressure
  • Ability to use surveys and data analysis to identify and execute improvements
  • Evidence of creating systems, documentation, or organizational structure (spreadsheets, tracking systems, checklists, etc.)
Preferred Experience & Skills
  • Experience mentoring, onboarding, or training team members
  • Background in educational travel, inbound services, or study abroad programs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, project management tools, or AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.)
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-growing environment
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing service
Success Looks Like (6–12 Months In)
  • You have built strong relationships with students and university partners
  • You demonstrate clear ownership over your responsibilities
  • Your proactive communication has reduced operational risks
  • You have improved internal processes through documentation and organization
  • You collaborate effectively across all departments
  • You have contributed ideas that meaningfully improve the student experience
  • Your teammates consistently trust you and know they can count on you
Compensation & Benefits Salary
